Cookie Policy

1. What Are Cookies?
Cookies are small text files that are stored on your device when you visit our website. They help us understand how you interact with our site and improve your experience. This policy explains what cookies we use, why we use them, and how you can manage your preferences.
2. Cookie Categories
Strictly Necessary Cookies
These cookies are essential for the website to function properly. They enable core features such as security, session management, and accessibility. These cookies do not require your consent and cannot be disabled.
Analytics Cookies
These cookies help us understand how visitors interact with our website by collecting and reporting information anonymously. We use Google Analytics 4 (GA4) and Microsoft Clarity to analyze traffic patterns, user behavior, and site performance. These cookies are only activated after you provide your consent.
Advertising Cookies
These cookies are set by the TikTok Pixel and the OpenAI Pixel. They help us measure which of our ads on TikTok and ChatGPT lead to visits, trial sign-ups, and purchases, and help TikTok and OpenAI show our ads to people likely to find them useful. They are only activated after you enable the separate Advertising category in Cookie Settings (or choose Accept All). Analytics consent alone never activates them. For our Google ads we load no Google Ads tag and set no cookie; with the same consent we only keep the Google click identifier in local storage (see Section 5).
3. Cookies We Use
The following table provides detailed information about each cookie used on our website:
| Cookie Name | Provider | Purpose | Duration | Category |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| _ga | Distinguishes unique users by assigning a randomly generated number as a client identifier | 2 years | Analytics | |
| _ga_* | Used by GA4 to persist session state across page requests | 2 years | Analytics | |
| _gid | Registers a unique ID to generate statistical data on how the visitor uses the website | 24 hours | Analytics | |
| _clck | Microsoft | Persists the Clarity user ID and preferences, unique to the site | 1 year | Analytics |
| _clsk | Microsoft | Connects multiple page views by a user into a single Clarity session recording | 1 day | Analytics |
| CLID | Microsoft | Identifies the first-time Clarity saw this user on any site using Clarity | 1 year | Analytics |
| MUID | Microsoft | Identifies unique web browsers visiting Microsoft sites; used for advertising, site analytics, and other operational purposes | 1 year | Analytics |
| ANONCHK | Microsoft | Used to store the session ID for the purposes of confirming that clicks from the user's session are authentic | Session | Analytics |
| _ttp | TikTok | Identifies the browser so TikTok can measure ad performance and attribute visits and conversions to our ads | 13 months | Advertising |
| _tt_enable_cookie | TikTok | Checks whether the browser supports cookies for the TikTok Pixel | 13 months | Advertising |
| ttcsid, ttcsid_* | TikTok | Groups events from the same visit for TikTok ad measurement | Session | Advertising |
| cbe_ttclid (local storage) | Coloring Book Engine | Remembers the TikTok ad click ID so a later trial sign-up or purchase can be attributed to that ad | 28 days | Advertising |
| __oppref | OpenAI | Stores the click reference of a ChatGPT ad so a later trial sign-up or purchase can be attributed to that ad | 30 days | Advertising |
| __obref | OpenAI | Identifies the browser on our website so OpenAI can measure ad performance and attribute conversions to our ads | 1 year | Advertising |
| cbe_oppref (local storage) | Coloring Book Engine | Remembers the ChatGPT ad click reference so a later trial sign-up or purchase can be attributed to that ad | 30 days | Advertising |
| cbe_gclid (local storage) | Coloring Book Engine | Remembers the Google ad click ID (gclid, gbraid, or wbraid) so a later trial sign-up or purchase can be attributed to that ad | 30 days | Advertising |
4. Session Replay Disclosure
We use Microsoft Clarity, which records user sessions including mouse movements, clicks, and scroll behavior. This helps us identify usability issues and improve our website. Sensitive input fields (such as passwords and payment details) are automatically masked and are never captured. Session recordings are stored on Microsoft servers in the United States. This feature is only active when you consent to analytics cookies.
5. Advertising Measurement (TikTok, OpenAI, and Google)
Only if you turn on the Advertising category (individually in Cookie Settings, or with Accept All when your browser does not send a Global Privacy Control signal), we load the TikTok Pixel and the OpenAI Pixel. They report these events to TikTok and OpenAI: page views, viewing the trial page, requesting a trial, clicking a download link, starting a checkout, and completing a purchase. Our servers may report the same trial request and purchase, and the first activation of a trial license, through the TikTok Events API and the OpenAI Conversions API so that ad results are measured even when a browser blocks the pixels. Each event carries an ID so each platform counts it only once.
For Google ads we load no tag in your browser. With the same consent we keep the Google click
identifier from the ad link (gclid, gbraid, or wbraid), and our
servers report requesting a trial, the first activation of a trial license, and completing a
purchase (with the amount paid) to Google Ads through the Google Data Manager API, with the click
identifier and a SHA-256 hashed email address. We tell Google not to use this data to personalize
ads.
The data shared is limited to the ad click identifiers (TikTok ttclid, OpenAI oppref, Google gclid / gbraid / wbraid), the browser
cookie identifiers (TikTok _ttp, OpenAI __obref), and SHA-256 hashed values of your email address and of an anonymous journey
identifier. The OpenAI Pixel can also hash an email address you type into a form on our website,
in your browser, and send the hash to OpenAI. We never share your name, license key, or payment
details. Server-side reports about a trial are made only if you accepted both Analytics and
Advertising when you requested it.
Global Privacy Control: if your browser sends a GPC signal, we treat it as an opt-out of advertising cookies. "Accept All" then enables analytics only; Advertising stays off unless you switch it on individually in Cookie Settings.
New advertising partners: your Advertising consent covers the partners listed when you gave it. If we add a partner later, nothing is shared with it for you until you save your Advertising choice again in Cookie Settings.
Withdrawal: turning Advertising off stops both pixels immediately, deletes the TikTok and OpenAI cookies and the stored TikTok, OpenAI, and Google click identifiers from our domains in your browser, and cancels trial-related server-side reports that have not yet been sent. Reports made before withdrawal are not affected; TikTok, OpenAI, and Google handle data they have already received under their own privacy policies.
Overseas transfer: TikTok processes this data in Singapore and the United States, and OpenAI and Google in the United States. The full transfer notice (recipient, data, purpose, retention, and how to refuse) is in Section 9 of our Privacy Policy.
Retention: the TikTok click identifier is kept in your browser for up to 28 days and the OpenAI click reference and the Google click identifier for up to 30 days. TikTok, OpenAI, and Google identifiers stored with a trial record on our servers are deleted 30 days after the trial is issued, and queued server-side events are sent or discarded within 7 days.
6. Third-Party Cookies
Some cookies are placed by third-party services that appear on our pages. We do not control the use of these cookies. The third-party providers involved are Google (analytics), Microsoft (analytics and session replay), and TikTok and OpenAI (advertising measurement). For more information, please refer to their respective privacy policies:
7. How to Manage Your Cookie Preferences
You can manage your cookie preferences at any time through the following methods:

- Browser Settings: You can configure your browser to block or delete cookies. Please note that disabling cookies may affect website functionality.

8. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time to reflect changes in the cookies we use or for other operational, legal, or regulatory reasons. We encourage you to revisit this page periodically to stay informed. The "Last Updated" date at the top of this page indicates when the policy was last revised.
